Graceful, airy plumes with bluish-green foliage grow best in landscape settings, but can be planted just as effectively in large containers. Plumes first appear in July, mature to a rich tan in August, then turn a lighter, straw color in autumn. Highly ornamental, with year-round appeal. 36-48". Perennial. Zone 5-20.  Full Sun.  4" pots
